The purpose of
the Westmont
Citizens Police Academy
Alumni is to assist and support the Village of Westmont’s
Police Department in its overall mission. The Alumni promotes civic development
of its members through educational presentations on law enforcement issues, safety, and community concerns. The Alumni volunteer at police and community events and coordinate community projects.
The WCPAA also helps to
promote and support the continued growth and development of Westmont Citizens Police Academy and the Junior Citizens Police
Academy.

The Westmont Citizens Police Academy Alumni has been informed that for their participation
in the Westmont Police Department's Junior Citizens Police Academy and the Westmont Fire and Police Departments Kids Safety
Camps they have been chosen for the 2005 Governors Home Town Award. Congratulations WCPAA!
THE WESTMONT CITIZENS POLICE ACADEMY ALUMNI purchased 6,000
Trading Cards for the Westmont Police Department's K-9 Unit - these cards are used for presentations, school programs,
tours, and other special programs. The Alumni also help purchase the T-Shirts for the Westmont Citizens Junior Police
Academy.
The Alumni recently purchased two batons and two baton training suits for the Westmont Police Department.
For the Holidays the Alumni helped with a donation to the Westmont Convalescent Center to help purchase
gifts for the residents of the center.
